Bildhalle is a gallery dedicated to classic and contemporary photography and photo-based art with locations in Zurich and Amsterdam. The gallery represents a highly curated selection of artists from around the world, with a particular focus on photography from the second half of the 20th century and contemporary artistic positions of the 21st century. In addition to showcasing internationally established artists, Bildhalle's ambitious program also provides space for innovative emerging artists who are pushing the boundaries of the medium of photography by creating crossovers with other visual art forms and are thereby bringing new perspectives to the discourse.

Founded in 2013 by Mirjam Cavegn in Zurich, Bildhalle has rapidly become one of the most respected galleries for photography in Switzerland and across Europe. The gallery further consolidated its strong position in the European market with the opening of a gallery space Amsterdam’s historic city center in 2020. The gallery presents up to 12 solo and group shows a year and regularly participates in international art fairs such as Paris Photo, Photo London, Art Paris, Art Rotterdam, AIPAD New York, Art Miami, Photo Basel, Art Karlsruhe and Positions Berlin.
