Natasha has a life-long passion for art that was fully realised when she began to sculpt 7 years ago. As a life drawing student she fell in love with the intricacies of the human form but also felt hindered by two dimensional paper and canvas. The clay, rendered from the earth, offers the full circle of the human experience... our connection to the earth, its ability to nourish our bodies and souls, and provide the essence of our creativity - the natural world.
Sculpture gives Sedaghat the means to express the beauty, strength and integrity of the female form. Her bronze sculptures embody the power of women, not only physically but also psychologically. Sedaghat has lived in Los Angeles for most of her life and completed her BA at UCLA and her Masters at CSULA.
